In contrast,a general virtual assistant performs administrative tasks for clients ranging from email management,calendar scheduling, travel management to file management, data entry,customer support services while a specialised virtual assistant’s duties are streamlined to a particular field(this is where niching down comes into play).

They are video conferencing tools which enables the virtual assistant to communicate visually.It can be used for meetings within the company where the team discusses about challenges, the way forward and other vital things.
ii.Cloud storage and file sharing tools: These are used to store ,share and edit data. It is also essential for collaboration. It is used to store documents online,useful for privacy which enables the virtual assistant to share with specific people.
iii. Project management tools: These tools are used for breaking down projects into smaller tasks and virtual assistants use them to keep record,assess their performance, prioritize deadlines.
