QUESTION 1 ANS; A GENERAL VIRTUAL ASSISTANCE IS ONE WHO HAS EXPERTISE AND TASK ON ALL ROLES OF A VIRTUAL ASSISTANT INCLUDING SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT VA, PROJECT MANAGEMENT VA, CREATIVE VA AND ETC. WHILE A SPECIALIZED VIRTUAL ASSISTANT FOCUSES ON A PARTICULAR NICHE AS A VA. EG. FOCUSING ON PROJECT MANAGEMENT VA AS A NICHE, ANOTHER EXAMPLE IS FOCUSING JUST ON SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT VA
QUESTION 3 ANS; NICHING DOWN FOR A VIRTUAL ASSISTANT REFERS TO A SCENERIO, WHERE A VA SETTLES DOWN FOR A PARTICULAR NICHE AND STAYS FOCUS IN IT. INSTEAD OF DOING EVERYTHING AS A VA, I.E DOING THE TASK OF A SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT VA, PROJECT MANAGEMENT VA, CREATIVE VA AND ETC. THE VA JUST FOCUSES ON A PARTICULAR VA GROUP WHICH IS A NICHE.
TWO BENEFITS;
1: VISIBILITY: WHEN A VA FOCUSES ON A PARTICULAR, HE OR SHE TENDS TO GAIN MORE VISIBILITY IN THAT NICHE, BECAUSE AS TIME GOES ON PEOPLE WILL DISCOVER YOUR EXPERTISE IN THAT NICHE SINCE YOU ARE FOCUSED THERE.
2: COMPETITION; FOCUSING A PARTICULAR NICHE, REDUCES YOUR CHANCES OF BEING IN COMPETITION WITH ANY OTHER VA
ONE CHALLENGE: NARROWED AUDIENCE: NICHING DOWN ONLY TARGETS A SPECIAL KIND OF AUDIENCE AND THAT MAY ALSO BE BORING ATTIMES ATTENDING TO THE SAME SET OF AUDIENCE
