first of all, a niche is a portion of the market that offers specific tools, strategies, products and services to a target audience for the purpose of maximising customer experience and increasing business opportunities.
a VA or business owner can niche down for various reasons such as expertise, resources, or manpower.
the advantage of niching down include:
Better customer experience: a VA will offer better customer experience if he niches down in his area of expertise.
saves money: a VA will save money on tools and resources if he niches down to a specific area of the market that matches his expertise.
a potential disadvantage is that there might be limited opportunities in his niche compared to when he spreads his net to other areas.
