The ability to combine studies and self-employment has reinforced my time management skills, professionalism and ethics. The skills assist me in remaining productive and having a good personal brand. Communication is one of the most important things one need to have, it makes so much difference in so many ways. Time management as a student who engages in other extra-curricular activities in school remains an important tool to balance school life and other engagement. To get the attention of prospective clients, you need to communicate properly to convince them to purchase and you also need good negotiation to finalize deals in order to make profit.
I am Nelson Prince, a process control and chemical engineer. I found all skills important especially Ethics and standards, continuing professional development, those are areas I really need to work on knowing how crucial and important they are to my everyday activity
As a Nutrition graduate, I am aware that communication, time management and negotiation skills are very important for a promising career.
And as an health practitioner, ethics and standards, professionalism are areas to be taken seriously.

My name is Adebowale Bashirat Adekemi and I’m a small business owner( A baker). I believe all the skills are important in my life of work but the one that stood out for me the most is the area of Communication, Negotiation and Time management.
As a baker, sometimes my customers find it difficult to understand what am explaining and it always cause issues between us both. Also, time management is another aspect have been struggling with especially when it comes to meeting the time I set for my customers to deliver their goods to them. I’m working on all these and I hope to be able to have improve in all aspects at the end of these course.
