  6. Answer 5
    > Email Management
    > Step by step process to managing an email
First, I will look through my clients email to know if there are filters in place,
Then I’d observe patterns; like the usual mails they receive from day to day. Then I’d modify their inbox.
This would imply me doing a thorough cleaning of their email and this is how I will carry out the task.
💡I will search for emails by filtering them by sender, or age, or by size.
💡 By Archiving en masse and deleting, I will use the two year rule, which states that if you haven’t needed an email in two years, you certainly won’t need it. It is best to archive . Because archiving removes the an email from your inbox but keeps it in your All mail folder, so you can find it when you search for it.
    💡The next step would be to create a folder. And this must be kept as simple as possible. For example, instead of creating about 50 folders or labels, you could make it only 5 to 10 broad categories Eg;
    • Action required • waiting on • Travel • Work • Finance…
    💡 Create filters
💡 Deal with spam or junk. For any spam that sipped through, I won’t only delete, I will select it and report spam.
💡 By applying the one touch rule, I would decide immediately if I should reply, delete, or archive the emails
💡I would schedule a cleaning time. Maybe weekly or as the case may be
💡Make a habit of always unsubscribing immediately a new promotional email comes in that my client doesn’t want.
💡 By regularly checking out the storage , I will be able to clean large emails to free up space
    ANSWER 2
Strategies I will employ to maintain positive relationship with my clients would be implementing my soft skills. Every VA must harness these skills to excel in their journey.
    • Communication Skills: I will learn my client to know how to communicate with them, by asking the right questions when the needs arises, instead of assuming things, knowing when to be polite, and apologize when necessary
    • Execution Skill. By ensuring that every tasks or projects are well managed and seen through til the end with keen eyes, well detailed documentation of processes and recurring patterns… This would further build trust and a good working relationship with my client.

    ANSWER 4
Effective ways to find jobs as a VA
    • By finding a job creatively from clients you know, by offering them free samples of your services for free.
    • By sending a direct email to your potential clients instead of applying generally. This differentiates you from other applicants.

How my chosen Niche could influence my client search and strategy.
If I love to cook for instance, I might be considering targeting clients in the hospitality industry. This goes a long way to influence my strategy as I search for clients. This has its pros and cons.
