  1. From the case study, there’s no communication and collaboration between Williams and John and I could notice internal adversities. On the side of Karen, she didn’t make use of the values
    The skills employed later:
    Problem solving skill, collaboration and team management

  2. From the case study read, there was lack effective communication and team collaboration among the project teammates. Williams as the Project manager was not handling the the team in the right way, he wasn’t giving updates, no meetings and he lacked communication with his teammates. The observed skills here are Negotiation, continual professional development by karen.

    1. From the APM case study, it can be viewed that John’s priority shift into pleasure before business, as he was first interest in the countries view(unethical).
      John and William lacked effective communication( unethical) as they were meant to work together on the day of arrival to obtain relevant information needed to proceed to the next day of the project.
      Karen wasn’t bold enough to criticize John her colleague because of her interest(conflict of interest). However, it was admirable for Keren to understand research recommend a way out(problem solving), which lead to collaboration( between Keren and John). This shows Keren’s value of continuous learning, adaptability and professional growth.

From the case study, it’s so obvious the team lack effective communication skills, and Karen was scared to say something as not to be seen as criticizing person since she just joined the team not until John asked her.The following skills were used to find positive solutions to the challenge they were faced with; Research,Risk Management,Collaboration, ethics and standard, negotiation, problem solving

  4. From the APM case study, the was clear that the team members lacked effective communication skills, especially John and Williams. And this affected their decision making and tackling the problem.

    Good communication skill is needed for maximum productivity.

  5. From the case, it was obvious the team members lack good communication and were not honest with each other. In our previous lessons, we were taught that effective communication is one of the major skill that a project manager needs to have and ethics and standard.

  6. From the APM case study, the team lack effective communication and team collaboration, though John and Karen collaborated to get a perfect outcome, Williams as the PM wasn’t giving timely updates, no meetings , poor communication with the team.
    The skills i noticed here are
    Negotiation
    Knowledge of regulatory bodies
    Ethics and standard
    Continuing professional development by Karen.

  7. From the case, it was obvious the team members were scared to hand the difficult talks and were not brutally honest with each other. In our previous lessons, we were taught that effective communication is one of the major skill that a project manager needs to have.

  8. Here is the one of the issues encountered.. lack of Communication, lack of honesty
    One of the skills that are needed is effective communication, team work collaboration and critical reasonings

  9. The issue noticed is the inability of the project team mates to open up their concern about how each of them are taking up their task. Their was a lack of professional conversation among their fellow project team mate.
    Communicating inside the project team skill was applied between John and Karen which had a positive result to move forward.

    1. Karen understood her need to contribute was because of her respect for the company’s organisational values and she values it above her deposition towards John
