It’s important I carry the stakeholders along with the progress of the project, not be afraid to drop bad news but must be careful not to bring in the bad news first and it will be safe to have possible solutions to the problem on ground.
All the communication strategies suggested by the three project managers apply perfectly my situation but what resonated most with me is that i should never spring bad news on the stakeholders. However, as a project manager i am not supposed to shy away from sharing the “bad news” rather the best approach should be to have a one-on-one discussions with them so they are not caught unawares during the general discussion.
As a project manager in the healthcare sector, here are some additional communication strategies that apply well:
1. Tailored communication in a clear and concise language that is adaptable to who I am communicating with.
2. Active Listening
3. Feedback Mechanism
4. cultural sensitivity
5. Transparency and Honesty

7. Regular Progress Updates

Communication is important to ensuring the success of the project. Carrying appropriate stakeholders along on each project is key to achieving the project’s success.
As a project manager I understand the importance of communication especially when it comes to carrying the team members, stakeholder and the clients along in every step for them to be updated timely
The main key points I gathered are:
1. Communication with stakeholders and even clients is very vital so everybody under stands what’s at stake.
2. Tailor your communication style so that the person you’re communicating with can understand you.
3. It’s good to have feedback from your team on your communication style and on whether it works for them.
4. A good Project Manager communicates with his team and clients to address time management, if the offer that was made is okay with them, budget, and so on.
5. Never bring bad news for the first time on the general table. It’s always better to inform all the stakeholders individually before announcing it generally so that, by then, they must have all gotten an idea of what it is about.

Constant communication with stakeholders is key to project managers and also the medium at which the message is communicated is very important you must know the right message to pass across and also feedback is very important that shows that the message passed across was either understood or misunderstood
Reports should also be submitted and as project managers we should not be afraid to speak as it is our duties to ensure that issues are resolved
I came to understand that communucation is key to every successfull project and that as a project manager, you cannot not communicate.
Moreso, while it is important to communicate with stakeholders, it is important to understand their personality and temperament as this would help the project manager know how best to communicate issues to them, be it positive or negative.
first and foremost, communication plays an important role in our daily lives and activities, As a Project Manager with an understanding that communication is a key essential and clients must be carried along and confirm the update that he/she may like to impact. communication must be my highest priority as i am the middle man between my client and stakeholders . Communication with the stakeholders and project team is very important and I will learn to be comfortable be if positive or negative because my end result is customer satisfaction and growth of my company.

Communication is very essential but knowing how and when to give information is very crucial. I particularly liked the input about meeting stakeholders individually to divulge a “bad news” before a major meeting. I believe it also helps stakeholders already start thinking of ways the issue can be resolved. This will ensure a more productive and constructive meeting when these difficult issues come up during a major meeting.
Communication is essential, more so, how you do communicate to the stakeholder(s) is equally important as not all of them are on the same level of comprehension. Get clarification on their needs, set up a communication plan on how frequently the reporting stream will flow, so that they are well informed and managed appropriately.
Lastly, don’t be afraid to communicate issues, though the first time shouldn’t be in a room of all the stakeholders. When communicating issues, proffer possible solutions as this provides a soft landing.
