Communication is good
I need to sharpen my communication skills before involving in with the stakeholders, because my approaches in our conversations will surely determine how cooperative they will be
Effective communication with project stakeholders, especially sponsors and line managers, is critical for project success. Here’s why:
1. Alignment on Objectives
Ensures everyone understands the project goals, priorities, and deliverables.
Prevents misunderstandings that could derail the project.
2. Securing Resources and Support
Sponsors and line managers often control budgets, personnel, and other resources.
Regular updates ensure they remain committed to providing the necessary support.
3. Early Identification of Risks and Issues
Open communication helps stakeholders flag potential risks or obstacles early.
Enables proactive problem-solving and risk mitigation.
Communicating clearly on time line of the project , financial implication of the project and meeting stakeholders individually in time of challages.
As a manager communicating with stakeholders must be healthy so that the ones that don’t understand the project process will be carry along and the process run smoothly
One On one communication with stakeholders to establish a good rapport and discuss the project expectations.
Communicating with stakeholders about the progress and status of the project will let a project manager gain more trust of the stakeholders and they will also know wherever their assistance will be needed
As an aspiring project manager, I should think that reporting alongside constant communication are necessarily essential to the progress view of the entire project phase owing to its dynamic nature.
I would prefer constant communication in order to keep the stakeholders on the level of progress
The presenting bad news individually first really resonates with me. It shows essentially how having a one-on-one session usually softens the blow
