  2. Effective communication is crucial in any form of human interaction and it’s more important while undertaking project because it helps to clarify and address issues promptly without being confused on a line of action to be taken due to misinformation or misinterpretation.

Which is why we must take into consideration three things: active listening, understanding and responding appropriately. With these things we’re sure to communicate without hassle.

One must also be strategic in delivering news either good or bad. Especially negative ones. And one must know what each stakeholder’s communication preference and style is.

  3. To establish an effective communication, my strategy will.be to maintain positive relationships. Also build a chain of people whom i will relate my visions and plans with for clearity and firmness. These are most likely the.stakeholders and my team members.

  4. * Communication helps to forsee problems and how that can be tackled.

*Communication plans should be written down, ensure feedback.

*communication style is important and it’s determined by who you’re talking to (listener/audience). Get the right level of information. Don’t be afraid to bring bad news but ensure to analyze all solutions.

  5. Effective communication is a vital key to good project management and as such, there should clear and concise communication with stakeholders and all other people involved.
In this video, as a project manager, i learnt that it is very important to have a list of communication plan, analyze all other options and understand how the system works in other to be able to effectively communicate.
Another thing is never to break bad news to the stakeholders generally but rather meet with them individually to discuss.

  6. The need to communicate appropriately and the level of indepth communication to each stakeholder can not be over-emphasized.

Worthy of note is the communication style adopted. This should suit the personality of the stakeholder in question, especially the sponsor.

    1. I adopt the style of communicating to we ach stakeholder individually. Communication as I have learnt is the core tool for executing a particular assigned task or project.

Every team member and stakeholders must be carried along throughout the project by constantly breaking the project processes and every milestone attained.

However, every successful project must be effectively communicated.

  8. Constant communication for me is very key to Project Management, it helps your relationship with the stakeholders easy i.e update from both parties if there is a change in plan going forward, also give report on the project daily.
Another important lesson is do not break a bad news to all the stakeholders together in a meeting.

  9. one of the key things for me from this part is never to break a bad news to stakeholders at the round table but rather meet with them individually to discuss issues.

  10. Communication is essential in every project, not one time communication but contact one with the Clients, Stakeholders for them to know the improvement and any changes , information about the progress of the project.
Project Manager must also tailor the Communication plan to the stakeholders, also not to be afraid to bring bad news on the table but not for the first time meeting with the Stakeholders.
Communication is the key to a successful project.
