Just as it is applicable with my present role, a project manager is expected to understand the dynamics of good communication. Reports should be done uniquely for the different categories of stakeholders. Also, a project manager should not fail to share potential risk factors as soon as possible. It is also important to state that while budgeting, enough gap should be allowed, to be able to deal with unforeseen and unexpected events caused by inflation and other external forces.

3. Offers given must be in line with what was agreed initially.
Being able to communicate with stakeholders is very important as well as not being scared to take good or bad news to the table, it is important on how such news are treated inorder to avoid repetition of such occurance.
Being able to communicate with stakeholders is very much important and also being able to have an insight or an option as a solution to the bad news is also a goal.
Not been afraid to bring bad news to bring bad news to the table is also important but then what makes it peculiar is that after proper analysis there also possible ways and solution proffered to solve and tackle this issue and this has always been a go ahead for me.
Don’t be afraid to bring bad news,it’s part of your job description as a project manager. However, don’t do this in a stakeholders meeting. Meet them individually. That way, when there’s finally a meeting, they won’t be surprised at the news as they’re already aware about what’s going on and may have even formed opinions around it thereby helping arrive at quicker solutions.
The tips at the ending is what I held most crucial and the third tip most important.
I could remember in secondary school, if there is anything big that happened in school I did have to tell mum first so she can have my back before having it as an open discussion with my dad present, by so doing she already know what to say to cover for me lol.
Effective communication between project manager and stake holders enhances the project
You need to plan the communication in advance, and when talking to the organizers make sure that they are all working in time. Never be afraid to bring bad news to the table, but properly analyze the situation and come up with possible solutions.
