  1. Having two scenarios, where in one there is little or no communication about updates, how the project is currently doing and in the other, there are updates of the work, contributions, additions, and suggestions.
    We would understand how vital communication is, the ease it brings to the workplace cannot be overemphasized as so many still do not communicate correctly.

  2. For effective communication, study and analyze the stakeholders in the project and determine the style of stakeholders communication for each individual

  3. Without effective communication, nothing can be achieved. In project management, communication must flow in order for things to get done. Informing and engaging with stakeholders every step of the way is expected. It is also important to understand how each stakeholder communicates and make efforts to adapt. That way, the whole team is carried along and the project completed within the expected timeline.

  4. Communication is key for every job, as a pm, for effective flow of work you should be able to communicate well with stakeholders.

  6. Information is key in any system and how can this information be passed on, is through communication and must be concise, direct and specific.
    As a PM you must be able to identify whom you are to communicate with that will make or mar the progress of tphe roject at hand.
    You must be able to get valid information from the sponsor ( upward communication ) gather survey and feedback from the consumers (side-way communication ), get requirements, and expectations from customers/clients ( sideway communication ), pass on all information gathered to the members according to their roles and tasks.
    Communication is vital in project management, it helps reduce errors and time lagging.

  7. to help you communicate effectively it is necessary to understand and tailor your communication style to each stakeholder, and while sometimes it may seem like a lot since each persons communication style differs, i believe this is where negotiation can become useful, you can them negotiate with them a communication style that still provides them all the information they require but can but grouped with people who require similar information.

  8. Information is a form of communicating, in other words, informing the stakeholders is the key role of project manager. A project manager should communicate the bad news individually to the stakeholders before bringing it to the table, while communicating the bad news individually, it can be done on a date or lunch. As a project manager, pen down all the necessary discussions with the stakeholders communication helps a project manager to know the minds of the team towards the project, and making sure the team are on same page or in line. Also a project manager finds out the issues or reasons to the project’s delay if there is any, and he resolves the issues without delay.

  9. Communication is a very vital part of any project. In as much as a project has to be executed, the Project Manager must make it a point of duty to carry everyone along including the Team members, Clients, Stakeholders, and other Project Managers. This is to ensure that everyone is on the same page.
    Feedback is also important in order to know where to make certain adjustments.

    Identifying and prioritizing stakeholders according to their interests
    Clear and concise messaging
    Actively engaging stakeholders to understand their concerns and needs etc.
