Communication between the PM and the state holders is one of the key factors in project management. As a project manager, you need to constantly communicate in a clear and calm terms the development in ur project . It’s important to note also that while communication is good , understanding the mood of the state holders and their personalities and crafting best form of communication patterns are very crucial.

First is constant and clear communication with stakeholders to make sure you’re on the page with each one of them.
Adjusting the communication style based on the personality of different stakeholders and making sure there’s room for feedback.
Not being afraid of tabling bad news but doing it the right way which is discuss with individual stakeholders before tabling it during Forum.
Communication with stakeholders by the Project manager at the beginning of the projects and regularly enhances their engagement in projects, and helps for a successful project
Constant and clear communication is needed for the project work to run smoothly. So it’s important to have a communication plan, and even if there’s a bad news, it is better to meet each stakeholder individually to get their review than dropping it on all of them at once.
As a project management Open communication with the stakeholders helps identify risks, concerns, or conflicts early, allowing for prompt resolution before they escalate.
I have learnt from the video, and even with my current experience at the work I do, that constant communication with stakeholders is key. I have learnt to have a communication plan and to not he afraid to bring bad news, especially when it is to be addressed as a major issue and when solutions are already at hand.
This is to help ensure that everyone is in alignment with the progress of the programme or project.
Clear communication and noting down important point to know the goal of the project and the required tasks and funds are used properly avoiding waste and also to keep the project team aligned with the goals.
To get an effective communication I’ll go with the written communication plan, get to write down what people’s (team members) suggestions are. Write down their reports and feedbacks.
Also motivate team members were they are slacking, take corrections , adjustments, every adjustment should be communicated across and a reminder of the main goals and objectives should be done constantly.
Effective communication between project managers and stakeholders is essential to project success. It ensures that all parties are aligned on goals, timelines, risks, and expectations. Clear, consistent communication builds trust, encourages stakeholder engagement, and helps manage risks before they escalate. When stakeholders are well-informed, they are more likely to support the project, provide timely input, and make decisions that align with the project’s objectives. Conversely, poor communication can result in misunderstandings, decreased confidence, and delays or failures in delivery.
Project managers use a range of communication styles, with assertive and collaborative approaches generally being the most effective. Assertive communication is clear, respectful, and confident, which helps convey important information without ambiguity. Collaborative communication encourages input and fosters a sense of ownership among stakeholders. To communicate effectively, project managers should tailor their messages based on the stakeholders’ interests and level of involvement, use the appropriate channels (such as meetings, reports, or dashboards), and maintain transparency even when sharing setbacks. A well-defined communication plan, combined with active listening and open feedback loops, significantly increases the likelihood of project success.
As a project manager, the strategies I would employ for effective communication is.
Have a written communication plan, taking notes of the main objectives and stakeholders. Also adjusting my communication style to suit different stakeholders. Paying attention to feedback, providing reports on time and making sure everyone is on the same time schedule for the project.
