From my understanding, communication is one of the pillars of project management, and without proper communication, no projects can effectively be managed.
From all I’ve learnt so far, it is obvious that communication is vital in project management and keeping in touch daily with stakeholders and the initiators of the project to ensure you are on the same page to avoid difficult situations
A Project Manager must communicate effectively and constantly with the Stakeholder. Planning communication in advance enhances stakeholders’ engagement with the project.
I believe a project manager must be in touch with his/her project team regularly, and also motivate team members where they are slacking, take corrections, adjustments. Every adjustments should be communicated across and a reminder of the main goals and objectives should be done constantly.
As a project manager effective communication ensures everyone is on the same page whjere ever you find yourself , enabling seamless coordination and preventing misunderstandings that can lead to project delays or failures.
As a project manager, effective communication is very important among the project team members and all stakeholders
This makes everyone on the project well informed and also keeps everyone heads up
Constant meetings for reviews on the project should be done at intervals
It is very important to keep all stakeholders updated so that If there’s an unforseen change in the project it would also be easy for you as a project manager to meet them and talk to them about it but before going to these stakeholders, you should have done your work by mapping out possible solutions to the problem at hand
As a project manager, you should also have a well written context of what you want to communicate to the stakeholders, You should also know when to meet stakeholders one by one or together when it comes to some certain issues because of how irrational they can be.
A project manager must be in touch with his/her project team regularly, and must never be afraid to discuss bad news/challenges that are meant to be addressed
I believe a project manager should have an effective communication styles with the stakeholders to enhance their engagement and identity their contributions, ideas and concerns for smooth operations.
In my role, constantly communicating with the stakeholders is paramount. They should be aware of the daily activities of the project. Reference to the video of the three (3) project managers. I prefer the last words by Bill Wootten, whereby he said, is better you as a project manager should see and have a one on one conversation/communication with each of the stakeholders beforehand so they can have an idea on their mind,so that before the meeting they have probably prepared their mind ontime, so it won’t come as a shock or a bombshell at the meeting. In project management, communication is key even in our day to day activities.
Communication is the pillars of the project management. Without which no project can be done effectively
