Effective communication is very important is one thing to communicate and is anther to communicate effectively for work to be done rightly. So as a project manager your ability to communicate to your down streams and the people involved in a project is highly important to keep everyone inform about the progress of the project

Communication is very important and in the way stakeholder will understand.I am a realtor and project and Allocation manager, what I do is I do tell my clients reasons to invest on the project, present and future benefits of the project or investment,I also let them know what they will loose if they do not invest in the project to avoid future regrets.Everyone likes benefits,so there’s no doubt but to invest on the project once they understand my points.

In my organization the strategies suggested by the project managers that would help me as a project manager is to always plan my communication in advance and also how to go about shareing of bad news to the stakeholders.

Communication is key in the effectiveness of any project. With a strong communication among the key stakeholders in a project, there will be less room for not meeting up to the timeline, backlogs of activities. With communication, issues are solved without stress.

For broader audiences, I use public forums and community barazas to explain the project’s goals, address concerns, and build trust.
