  1. From my point of view, the best strategy is to adapt communication to each stakeholder’s level of influence and interest, ensuring they receive the right information in the right format. This approach keeps close engagement, while others are managed through tailored updates and feedbacks.

  2. While I am not currently a project engineer, I am actively working toward becoming one. Communication is key to every aspect of life. I struggle to understand why project-related information isn’t consistently shared with team members. From this video, I’ve learned that it’s not just about raising issues in stakeholder meetings—it’s equally important to engage individual stakeholders directly and communicate any bottlenecks clearly.

  4. Communcation is key as a project manager (State project coordinator), in my organization I share progress reports with the key actors in my state this is the ministry of budget and economic planning, Ministry of Agriculture and Food security, Ministry of health.
    With my team I do a weekly check in meeting, where we share what went well and what are the challenges we encountered on the field and profer solutions to them as a team. Any pressing challenge that can’t be handled at the field I escalate to the Multi State project Manager.

Effective communication is very necessary to keep everyone updated on the project and also their level of progress. It aids in avoiding loopholes too. Also, handling project issues is one the responsibilities of a project manager. But then knowing the right communication style to use to break it down to the people you’re working with also matters as not to dampen their working spirit. Effective communication is really a necessity for a project manager for a successful and satisfactory project.

In my organization context communication is very vital and knowing how to communicate with each significant stakeholders is very important, like daily reporting as to keep everyone on the project in the same page , transparency is essential as well , it will make you earn the trust project team. Lastly know how to break bad news that may affect the project but you ought to have done your homework, on finding possible solutions or idea to deal with the bad news, so the stakeholders will still be interested in carrying on with the project.

A project manager should tailor updates to different stakeholders, keep messages clear and concise, and use the right channels. meetings for alignment, reports for records, and chat tools for quick updates. Transparency is key, especially with risks or delays, and active listening ensures team concerns are heard. Regular communication cadence, visual dashboards, and proper documentation keep everyone aligned. Above all, empathy and celebrating wins help maintain trust and motivation across the team.

  8. In my organisational context, i have come to find out that communication and reporting are very vital, laying out every information and making sure everyone is on the same page. I have also learnt that not communicating with stakeholders can cause draw backs.

  9. In my organisational context, constant communication with stakeholders about the planning, informing them of changes/additions and also carrying the team members along is necessary. It’s important I plan my communication (decision should be made based on the person I am working for; does he/she like evidence, quick conversation, simple communication. Working with the stakeholders budget or financial expectations is also crucial but while communicating with the stakeholders, the team members should be communicated to/with and treated with empathy .

  10. In my organisational context, the strategies I will apply is communicating daily to my principal and team. I need to ensure that I am putting in the information before them, that is planning my communication and its style. No stakeholders need to be neglected or begging for communication. The boldness to break bad news is vital but you should have done your homework and analyses before breaking the bad news. And it is necessary to break the bad news to each stakeholder individually.
