Communication is a vital reality in life. It is as important as the air we breathe. A project management personnel cannot do without communicating with stakeholders and members of his or her team. It can not be overlooked.
I find that adjusting your communication to stakeholders’ interest and influence works best. For high-power, high-interest stakeholders, we provide detailed updates and involve them in key decisions. For those with lower power but high interest, regular briefings and progress summaries keep them informed without overwhelming them. Adapting the level of detail and communication method depending on the stakeholder will give them clarity and engagement.
There should be no barrier to communication as it’s consume timeline. Presently in a project with Chinese, language barrier has delay the work for over a month, it even out one of my project lead transfer. The other lead confess he now understands where the Chinese are driving at after time and resources waste.

Effective communication is important for every project managers. Communication should be concised and straight to the point. Effective communication makes workflows to be understandable and much more easier to adhere.
As a project manager communication is only as effective as you’re able to tailor your style of communication to the listener
As a product manager you need to be able to communicate effectively to your team, express your ideas, though and give constructive feedback
Communication is key in ensuring a project is successful, having regular meetings for reviewing how far the project has gone, if there were any changes or risks factors and how they’ll affect the time scheduled, the allocated budget and others. Everything mentioned are important to relay to the stakeholders to keep them updated with the progress of the project teams
How communication is done with project stakeholders is very key as project managers.
Constant communication with everyone involved in the project, getting the right level of information that the stakeholders need, and also been very careful in your communication strategy to suit the kind of person been talked to is essential.

Communication is very important in every project been carried out. Most importantly, it should be clear, timely to the appropriate persons involved.
Communication is key in our lives as individuals. It is essential for a Project Manager to always communicate with clients, that gives the client a proper view of what the project manager is doing or has done. That makes the both the Project Manager and the client to have a proper understanding of how the project is being handled. Even when there’s mistake, a proper communication from the Project Manager will make the client understand why happened.
Communication is one thing, to effectively communicate and get the other parties to be understood is even more paramount.
Often times a person says X but the other party understands it as Y. To bridge this gaps are the important strategies mentioned in the video.
Communication must not just be planned but tailored to each stakeholders personality!
As a good Project Manager, emotional intelligence EQ is also need to know each stakeholder, what they want and how they’ll better understand it. Stakeholders will definitely have different personalities;
– To an actionable person, i’ll have to nail to conversation straight to point and deliver.
– To an analytical person, i must bring evidence and show clearly what is needed to be done.
– To a people oriented person, i will need to show concern while i speak.
– To an innovator, i must give a vision to inspire them to understand.
Taking bad news to stakeholders may be a hard task, but we must own up to it in order to proffer solutions quickly so that the agreed deadline can be met and all parties will be be satisfied.
Basically delivering the right level of conversation to the right person, giving necessary feedbacks and updates will present me as an excellent project manager.
