The importance of communication cannot be over emphasized, for a PM communication with the project sponsor and other team members is foundational stone to a successful project delivery, moreso, it shows how transparent you are as a PM and at the same time integrity must be maintained. This is because we are acknowledged by what value, impact, and change we were able to bring to limelight .
Communication is a vital aspect of a business or organization to succeed. Communicating with the project sponsor from time to time is the most important because they need to know the progress ,challenges being faced during the execution of the project. Lack of communication with the sponsor could affect the funding and commitment from the major stakeholders.
As a project manager, having a communications plan is vital in being able to engage stakeholders effectively, at all levels. The communication plan will include a stakeholders map; understanding their respective, communication preferences; agreed frequency of meet and; ensuring adequate preparations are made for any scheduled meet
Communication forms a major part of any project work and constant communication is key in ensuring that every member of the every stakeholder is carried along. Apart from being constant, communication has to be timely as well. As a product manager, you may have the responsibility of ensuring the success of the project, but the execution is usually going to be done by other members of the team. It is important that they get the information that they need on time, so they do whatever they need to and the project stays on schedule.
We struggle with timely communication in my school. Most times, people who are responsible for getting a task done receive the information late and it often leads to complaints and higher stress levels in trying to meet up with the deadlines. Recently, we came up with a communications plan document that spells out the ways through which we can communicate with different parts of the school including timelines. We are seeing gradual improvements.
So, having a communications plan is helpful.

Regular and continuous communication is key. Do not bring afraid to bring bad news to the table however in doing that it is imperative that the PM has made all analyses of the situation and can also bring possible solutions.
Communication is vital between project manager stakeholders, good communication skills will pass the required information about the project given to both parties and will create knowledge about the project.
Communication with a well explanation will carry everyone along till the end of the project with great relationships between them.
As a project manager, staying on top of the project is essential. Communication with stakeholders is a key aspect of this role. It’s important to regularly engage with stakeholders to factor in their opinions and ensure their support for the project. Simultaneously, effective communication with the project team is vital. This helps in identifying any issues, providing necessary support, offering advice, and keeping the team motivated. By maintaining open lines of communication with both stakeholders and the project team, you can increase the chances of meeting project deadlines and delivering a successful outcome.
Communication between the project manager, stakeholders and team members is key, it allows feedbacks and conflict can be easily avoided.
Effective communication as a practising project manager has been a strategy I also implement effectively as this has enabled us achieve milestones in project execution.
