  1. Also Study people. It is one of the most important piece of information I grabbed. stakeholders or sponsors may be results-oriented or analytical etc. The key is communicating with the right tool and approach suitable and acceptable by the other party.

  2. They all spoke helpfully. However, the most appealing to me was that of not bringing bad news first hand to a gathering of all stakeholders untill you have individually brought them up to speed. Also not be scared of bringing bad news. They are bound to happen. Only come up with possible resolutions to these issues while addressing sponsors.

  3. Communication as been proven to be the most essential in project management ,communicating well with client and team makes work easier and achieving goals

    1. Communication is key as it enhances the progress of a project and also preserve stakeholder’s commitment to the project.
      In project management, you cannot not communicate!

  4. It’s important to have a good understanding of your team and communicate with them in a way that resonates with each individual. As a program manager, I’ve learned that everyone is unique and you can’t treat five people in the same way. To gain my team’s trust and encourage them to meet deadlines, I’ve utilized various approaches like stakeholder feedback, reporting, follow-ups, and even small acts of motivation like treating them to lunch or celebrating their birthdays.

  5. It has been proven beyond doubts that communication is the key to every successful project.
    From the negotiation with the stakeholders to when project is completed, communication is required in every step of the process. Project Managers should research and have a knowledge of what the project entails and make rules to adhere to in the project, this will help them communicate efficiently and effectively.

  6. Engaging with stakeholders is very important for any project to be successful however it is more essential to communicate with everyone making sure that the goal is understood by everyone in the team

  7. Let me start by identifying three categories of people that I would be communicating with: –
    1) Data-oriented
    2) People-oriented
    3) Innovative people

    Data-oriented
    Effective communication with data-oriented individuals involves presenting information concisely, using data visualizations, and highlighting key insights. I will therefore articulate project goals, align with data-driven objectives, and encourage open discussions to leverage their analytical skills for informed decision-making.

    People-oriented
    When interacting with people-oriented individuals as a project manager, I will prioritize interpersonal communication. I will foster a collaborative and supportive environment, actively listen to their concerns, and emphasize the project’s impact on team dynamics. I will recognize and celebrate achievements to strengthen team morale and motivation.

    Innovative People
    I will effectively communicate with innovative individuals by fostering an open and creative atmosphere. Encourage idea-sharing, value diverse perspectives, and provide a platform for experimentation. Acknowledge and celebrate innovative contributions, ensuring that the team feels empowered to explore novel solutions and approaches in the project.

  8. Communication has been proven to be the most essential skillset I’m Project Management and understanding how you tailored your communication to different stakeholders is very key

  9. So far, effective communication is the key role of a project manager, especially with stakeholders as it enhances their engagement with the project.

  10. I understand that Communication is a key role in project management jobs and so there should always be an effective communication flow between the project Manager and Stakeholders for a smooth and successful projects.
