I think I concur with the three speakers, communications should be planed and written down first.
As a PM don’t be afraid of bad news, always come up with a solution
Don’t bring in bad new the first time because they might lose interest.
To me as a Project Manager, you should develop communication plans for your different stakeholders and determine the frequency of information dissemination.
I totally agree with the three speakers. It is important to have an understanding of who your stakeholders are and how to communicate with them. It is also important to pen down your communication styles with each stakeholder so as to further analyze and foster communication. It is also important to have moments of one on one communication with the stakeholders and if there is any challenge, we share with them before having a major meeting that involve all the stakeholders.
I think I concur that communications should be planed and written down first. This will help me as a project manager not to forget any point when communicating with stakeholders.
For me as a project manager i would adapt to planning out my communication and the style i would use to convey my information. it is also important i study the personality i am communicating with, if they are analytical then i should come with facts and figures, if they are people oriented then i should speak showing that i care about the project and the team involved.
Be in constant communication with clients, project Managers and Project Teams, it will keep every one abreast of situations and easily address potential risks that may arise. As a Project Manager, you should develop communication plans for your different stakeholders and determine the frequency of information dissemination.
Communication is vital in all ramifications Not leaving out in management of any project.. This helps not on only to pass information but also to bring clarity and understanding to the team and all involved for a smooth sail .
Communication is very important. For you to have a successful project,you need to communicate with stakeholders effectively and it should involve all team members in other to be on the same page.
Communication with all relevant stakeholders is key. Carrying everyone along with the progress of the project is vital. From the project team to the project collaborators and the client. The project team must meet with the project manager to discuss the progress achieved daily. Project collaborators should also be carried along on the timely delivery of all deliverables. Feedback should be given to the client to put their minds at rest about the timely delivery of the project.
Communication is the key to success in any project so the project manager must communicate strategically to the stakeholders, clients and project team to ensure they are all on the same page at every stage.
