  1. Communicating with project stakeholders is very important.

    First, it is essential to know what their role is and what others are interested in. For instance, if these are internal or external, directly or indirectly involved, this then calls for seeing how the audience or stakeholders are engaged and determining the format to use to inform the time and the model. No project exists in a vacuum, and some stakeholders need just simple updates and more or less frequent communication; others need professionalized communications, etc.

    Congruent corporate communication would be an important condition for a successful PM.

  2. Scheduling a meeting at the very onset of the project is very important as it enables the stakeholders convey their thoughts and vision about the project. Intermittent interactions would also help as a guide such that the vision is not eroded in the end.
    Being dynamic in approach and communication is also key. Various people tend to have different demands and approach on project management. The ability of the project manager to interact effectively with stakeholders would mean that he is reassuring to the skeptic stakeholders, be forward-thinking to the visionary stakeholders, be logical and detailed to the analytic stakeholders. As a Project Manager, I must adapt and adjust my communication skills to suit the specific stakeholder.

    Effective communication with your team, clients and stakeholders is very important so every one would be on the same page and the time schedule would be met despite changes or challenges along the line.

  8. I wholeheartedly concur with the three speakers. Recognizing your stakeholders and knowing how to interact with them are critical. To further study and promote communication, it’s also critical to record the ways in which you communicate with each stakeholder. It is imperative to engage in one-on-one conversation with stakeholders and to disclose any challenges before calling a major meeting that includes all stakeholders.

  9. Communication is a very invaluable aspect of project management and it is expected that as potential PM’s we hone this skill. The importance of Proper communication can not be overemphasized. It is necessary to carry along all stakeholders involved in the project as all hand must be on deck to achieve the set goals
