In light of people’s limited comprehension, I would propose, as a project manager, that you employ the Aristotelian technique of “tell them what you are going to tell them, tell them, then tell them what you told them.” It is one of the most basic forms of communication available. As a sales manager, Sometimes there are bad news of delayed deliveries which can occur due to vehicle break down. In this case I try to communicate the situation with my customers and ask for the next day and sometimes when they are urgent, I suggest for rides that would bring their orders to them.
In a situation where there is a delayed delivery due to traffic, I call my customers to notify them so they could hold on for my driver in case it gets close to their closing hour.
Communication is the most essential part of every project because it helps to keep every stakeholders informed about every stages of the project. It also helps to reduce delays.

Communication helps to put every stakeholder on the project on the same page. It reduces surprises and friction between team members and stakeholders.
I picked that you should not be afraid to communicate bad news, if any. However, find an appropriate way of doing it. For instance, you could do it individually, rather than dropping it to everyone’s surprise in a general meeting.
