As a Project Manager, constant and effective communication is key to the success of any project. In my present organisation, most of the stake holders prefer to get analytical along side pictures feedback.
As a project manager, communication is important, effective communication with stakeholders helps one to know and understand what to expect, what the stakeholders expect, and the possible timeframe of a project.
Also, as a Project Manager, you shouldn’t be scared to bring bad news to the table, however, didn’t be the first to bring bad news to the table, weigh all options and provide possible solutions to those seemingly “bad news”.
As a project manager, you must have a good communication with all stakegolder involved in the project. To enable you achieve your goal in time also without waste of energy and resources .
It is vital to have a streamlined and detailed communication with stakeholders when it comes to project management, ensuring that there is ample time allocated to each stakeholder when it comes to sensitive information. In my line of work, my best practice will be not to be scared of bringing bad news to the stakeholders and even when I do, I need to ensure that I have some possible solutions to any issues that arises. Secondly, ensuring that stakeholders are kept appraised of every steps taken in the process of work to make room for changes that might come up.
