In all of this, communication can never be overflogged, regardless of the context. Effective and open-minded communication gives you a better edge in observing, following and ultimately owning the project. Furthermore, via communication you can be able to understand each stakeholders and clients paramount motives and roles in moving forward with the project and achieving greater results afterwards.
In my role as a scientist working in a diagnostic center, communication is a very integral part of our job. We need to constantly give feedback to partners. Every little piece of information is important and a great game changer
Constant communication is a must.
Have a written down communication plan.
Have the evidence for the message you are trying to convey in certain instances.
Every of the stakeholders should understand the level of progress.
As a programme manager, you cannot not communicate.
*You “cannot not communicate”.
*Don’t be afraid of bad news after exhausting all the possible options.
*Don’t give bad news for the first time in a forum. Always meet with the individual stakeholders to discuss aforetime so there wouldn’t be any surprise.
In my context, regular communication is key. this helps to evaluate the situation and mitigate disruptions ; provide resources that may be required at every stage of the project.
Written communication has also been quite helpful as i also receive feedbacks with respect to the project that will enhance project execution.

My take from the video is that Communication is essential for effective project management because it enables the project manager to:

My major takeaway that I think best fits my organization is periodic and prompt communication to track and monitor the progress of the project so that all stakeholders may be on the same page.
