Constant communication with the stakeholders in a project is very vital for the success of a project. Also written down communication, that is who to say something to, and how to say it, is very important as the PM will be able to communicate to each stakeholder well, and in a way they will easily understand. From today’s lesson, I’ve come to learn that, during your first meeting with the stakeholders, don’t drop a bad news or bombshells, if there are risk, first analyse them and come up with a Plan B that should be communicated to the stakeholders. In doing so, you didn’t just tell them about the risk, you also provided a solution which has now built the stakeholders faith in you.
Constant communication is KEY for every PM. In my Construction field, daily communication with both the specialist team mates(Electrical, Mechanical, Structural,Artisans) and the client is very important because it helps to hear and understand the situation of things from the specialists who are the hands on personal executing the project and knowing how to foresee any impending challenges or risks which the project might face before relaying the situation to the client and letting them know the solution that has been thought of to resolve said challenges/risks. I have now learnt it is best to have a Written-down Communication plan to enable me communicate better with all stakeholders of any project going forward.
It’s very important to have a communication plan. I’ve seen some projects omit this plan and, as a result, some stakeholders are left out of the information flow. The communication plan is important for any project manager. This document must establish a communications strategy adapted to each project stakeholder.
You can’t be a successful Project Manager without having good communication skills. Do not be afraid of your role as a PM. Ensure to get the right level of information from the Stakeholders. Inspire your team by effectively communicating with them to achieve target goals.
Communication to a project manager can’t be overemphasized nor under emphasized. It’s by communication that clear expectation are made known, level of progress, areas of difficulty are others.
As a project manager, communication is paramount. Also time management and team work is important so as to deliver a good and quality project.
Communication is quite important, it helps to know the requirements of each stakeholders, and avoid wasting in unnecessary things. In addition it facilitates to communication the project needs, issues which raises during the process, and proposed solutions. Communication is an important part during negotiation. I would like to learn more about resolving management issues among stakeholders. Thanks to tutor the course is clear, and easy to comprehend.
Communication is crucial. You ‘cannot not communicate’. From the video, I was able to deduce that effective communication is the bedrock of a successful project. You communicate and get feedback, the clients and other stakeholders also communicate and get feedback, this is processed by all parties and the cycle continues until we have all the deliverables. Also worth mentioning is that the project manager tailors his or her communication style to what works best for each stakeholder.

Communication is key, The different styles mentioned by the speakers works for me. Tailoring my communication based on the stakeholder involved and their perceived area of interest. Making out notes to guide my conservation with stakeholders and taking notes for feedback. We must be very consistent with communication.
