It is important that a project manager is an effective communicator, from my point of view it is necessary to always communicate with your client based on how their personalities are, and also to know the medium that is perfect for their stakeholders, and also to not be afraid to deliver bad news, but with a necessary plan for the needed solutions, generally a project manager relates and communicate with their clients whether is to give reports or the delivery of bad news, on ways that suits the clients and stakeholders.

  2. As a project manager I learnt that don’t bring bad news to your clients at first meeting instead meet with them individually so as to minimise the shock and discouragement of future contracts.

  3. Physical meetings with staff are preferable as the mode of communication would be open and unbiased. That way, people will be able to share their ideas and creativity.

  4. The very essential skill a Project Manager needs is being able to communicate very well and also know the mediums to use to communicate to stakeholders and project teams …

    Proper communication is the key to successful project .

  5. As a project manager, communication is essential, it bring the team and the stakeholders together, the sponsor are to be constantly updated about the progress of the project, whatever occurs in the process of executing the project should be discusse with the proffer solution.

Reporting in terms of weekly situation reports will work effectively in updating the situation on the ground and in return organize a meeting with the team in evaluation of each step and the possible future outcomes from the current state.Stakeholders and sponsors should be informed of the situation on ground and the possible proposed solutions if any.

  7. The flow of information is important to sponsors and two strategies that maybe effective doing the project process.

    Note: in other to keep the stakeholders engaged it’s therefore important to pass appropriate information.

  8. Effective communication is key to every profession, but communication poses as a more important key for project managers to soothe the project processes and to effect expected changes. It gives room for timely correction and bridges detrimental gaps to every deliverables.
