It’s not all about bringing good news on table all the time, when there is badnews you handle it alone.
So don’t be afraid to bring bad news but before you do that openly try to meet the stakeholders individually before doing it collectively.
And yes Always communicate with everyone calmly, you never can tell what idea you will be getting.
In order to have an efficient and successful project, I will keep in close contact with my clients and relevant stakeholders to ensure that they are informed of any plan changes that need to be shared with my team.
Communication is essential in project management and understanding how to communicate is vital. As project managers we must we should know when to communicate, how to communicate and what we should communicate. We can’t just appear anywhere unprepared. Therefore we should have a communication plan.
Communication is a very important key in every projects and is very good to understand each stakeholder so as to know the pattern of communication to apply for each of the stakeholders.
A written down communication plan is also very good and reporting and feeds back is also away of moving the project forward with the project teams.
I think it all still boil down to communication and communication style. Between the project manager, team members and sponsors/stakeholders
It is important to have written down communications plans so you know how you’re talking to different stakeholders at what points in time and what the key messages are linked to that. It’s really vital to get their feedbacks on how that comes is working for them. Are they getting the right level of information in the right way keeping ear to the ground.

As much as there should be communication there should also be feedbacks and ways to improve in the course of the project

Communication is important in managing a project ,because it makes for easy accessibility incase someone is already facing difficulty , they can easily communicate their worry.
Communicating the right information at the right time, as it is required. Managing communication properly is a fundamental demand posed on every project manager because it has a direct impact on project performance.

For me, it is tailoring your communication to what type of person the stakeholder is, whether an action person, or analytical, or a people person. Making the communication specific and individualistic. what has worked for me in my professional engagements is I never bring up bad news for the first time to stakeholders in a conference meeting. I usually pre-inform and also do personal homework before it comes out on the table.
Yes communication is very important,it helps in finding,changes and extras and it also help to understand the level of progress made
Create a communication style that is appealing to both the sponsor and the team members. Being observant and proactive will also reduce the risk of project ruin
