Communication is very vital in a Project Manager’s role. The communication must be constant, especially with the sponsor of the project.
When the stakeholders’ role in a project advances from an observer to that of the lead, personal relationships come to play.
The more invested a stakeholder, the more communications that’s required.
When there is a forum of stakeholders, never drop bad news, it’s like dropping a bomb. Instead, have individual conversations with the stakeholders, so they know what’s going on with the project.
I will adopt this style of constant communication in my current role.

My takeaway as a project manager from the three speakers are;
1. Always communicate with your stakeholders periodically
2. Develope different communication styles that will enable the free flow of communication with different stakeholders
3. Never bring bad news for the first time in a meeting but be free to communicate if there’s a problem in a project and seek for solutions as well.
