  1. As a project manager, constant communication is very important, by this I mean daily communication regarding planning, changes, team on the ground and needed equipment. Have a written down communication so that you know how to put it and when to discuss with them. Realistic time schedule is vital in communicating with a stakeholder.

One of the great attributes of a Project Manager is Communication.A clear communication between the P.M, Stakeholders ,Project Team etc, plays a major role in to determine the success of the given project. Stakeholders must be constantly engage about the project to prevent misunderstanding, and to keep them abreast with the progress of the project.

      To achieve proper Communication with Stakeholders,it is important to tailor your Communication style and report according to the Stakeholders,plan your communication , bring evidence and data for proper understanting.

Making a hand written note of everything you need to ask them and creating possible questions they may ask and viable answers to them will go along way to convince them of our capabilities in handling the project.

Reporting is also one of the keys to a successful project which will help everyone to know the progress of the project. In addition, being able to bring new ideas to the table, analyzing all options and bringing possible solution are things I would to implore as a project manager.

  9. As a Project Manager in a Construction company, information management within the stakeholders with reference to their influence on my project is key. This requires me to have some communication templates and platforms such as: Progress report, Site meetings schedule etc. Also ‘Below the Line’ form of communication can also be implemented.
