  1. Communication is very important in dealing with stakeholders because you don’t want to be seen as incompetent when some certain questions are being asked by some stakeholders.
    Every stakeholder should be carried along during the project with the right amount of information on each step of the project especially when it comes to finance.
    Communication makes the project manager to always be at alert when changes are to be made by any of the stakeholder.

  2. Effective communication is vital for the success of any project, making it an indispensable skill for achieving project goals. Engaging with stakeholders, those directly or indirectly impacted by the project’s outcome, allows for the early detection of potential issues and facilitates the provision of timely solutions.

    Developing a structured communication plan, establishing clear timelines, and soliciting feedback are key aspects of stakeholder communication.

    The communication style also has be tailored according to each client/ sponsor’s need. The same the approach used for analytical client /sponsor may not be suitable for an innovative client/ sponsor.

    A project manager must engage with clients throughout all stages of the project to ensure seamless coordination and successful outcomes.

  3. Communication is the lifeline of any project, which makes it an essential skill to have for the successful completion of any project. Communicating with stakeholders (people directly or indirectly involved in the outcome of the project) provides an opportunity to identify possible problems and provide adequate solution to them.
    Having a written communication plan, identifying timelines and getting feedbacks is a way of communicating with stakeholders.
    A project manager should be able to communicate with clients at every level of the project.

  4. As a project manager, communiction is very crucial.
    In my job as a teacher, communication has to be clear and concise. I have to ensure that I communicate according to the intellectual ability of the students I wish to address. This can only be done by ensuring that I tailor my communication styles to the level of my audience.

    Also, sometimes you may have to share unpleasant news with the parents(one of my stakeholders). This has to be done systematically so as to make it easier on them. I usually start by discussing the stufents’ area of strengths before moving to the weak areas. I then suggest possible solutions in such situations.

  5. As a project manager, communication with all stakeholders is crucial. This is to ensure that everyone is up to date on any planning or changes. Constant communication helps one to forsee problems in advance and find ways to tackle them.
    Having a written communication plan as a project manager helps one to know how to address different stakeholders. It is also helpful to know the type of person they are(i.e analytical, action-oriented ,e.t.c). This helps one to get the best of the conversation and enhance quicker understanding on both sides. It is also crucial to get the right level of information from each stakeholder.
    As a project manager, one should be ready to present both bad news and good news to the stakeholders. The bad news can be shared by discussing individually with each stakeholder before addressing all of them together. This gives them an understanding of the situation on ground and makes the conversation much easier.

  6. As a project manager communicating with my stakeholders is very key to the success of the particular project. Hence, carrying them along through communication will eliminate all sorts of errors on the way.

    1. Communication is an essential skill in project management that cannot be over emphasized.Good communication with the shareholders enables a Project manager to coordinate projects with ease , having all the acceptable criterias available at his disposal.

  8. I should adapt my conversation style to the unique personality of each stakeholder. This involves taking time to understand their personality and how to interact with them

As a Project Manager,obviously communication skill is a very essential/important skill we much have in dealing with the stakeholders,clients and even the project team,we must be able to communicate with all of them with the best language that they will understand in other to make the work easy and faster which will bring a good result for us

  10. Well as a PM, indeed communication is key to succeed ng hence be it a bad or good news. It is important to meet with stakeholders, this maybe individually were you prepare their mind on what the challenge is before the set time for the forum so they would have formed their opinions and be surprised. Also constantly given feedback or progress report while keeping track of the team members.
