3 experts have described difficult decisions they had to take in one project.
Now think about what was important for them in taking the decision the took. Would they act differently in a different context? Why?

Looking at the three PM approach to project I really adored the spirit they showed of never give up with that of water challenge that of language barrier or the great feeling of the other PM of never wanting to come to the point that a project has to be terminated.
All 3 PM have the positive mind set of working out the problem and fixing issues involved because they know time , money has been invested and therefore a logical conclusion need to be reached to wrap up a project nicely.
My take here isn’t actually about terminating the projects but how to move on from that moment as a lot is at stake ranging from the team members damped spirit which needs to be addressed before moving to the next projects to the Project manager’s mental stress and also Funds invested into the project. Solutions should be what we should always be looking out for as problems are constant.
From the three speakers in the video, one thing that stood out for me was that – they were solution driven . Instead of them to complain about the challenges , they found practical ways around them. Even though the journey was tough for some , they still pushed through. This reminded me that every challenge has a solution when we stay focused and determined .
What really struck me from what the three PMs shared about those tough calls is how they all consistently put the project’s success first, above everything else. I think that’s the bottom line. Dodging a difficult decision will absolutely stall a project, and could even call the PM’s capabilities into question.
Can you be more specific about the content of your article? After reading it, I still have some doubts. Hope you can help me.
Thanks for sharing,I’ve learnt a lot in making difficult decisions during a project
During one of our production projects, I faced a difficult decision when a batch failed the quality test just before delivery. The client deadline was very close, and the production team wanted to release the batch to avoid delays. However, as the QA/QC representative, I had to decide whether to approve it or stop the delivery. After reviewing the data and discussing with the project manager, I decided to stop the release and request a rework of the batch.
It was a tough call because it affected the delivery schedule, but it protected the company’s reputation and ensured that only quality products reached the client. In the end, the client appreciated our transparency and commitment to quality.
