  1. When faced with difficult situations as a project manager, I focus on three key approaches. First, I prioritize open and clear communication with the team. I make sure everyone understands their responsibilities and feels comfortable raising concerns or asking questions. This prevents misunderstandings and keeps the team aligned, even under pressure.

    Second, I maintain a calm and solutions-oriented mindset. I take the time to understand the project workflow and anticipate potential challenges, which allows me to guide the team confidently and keep morale high during tough phases.

    Finally, I aim to resolve issues efficiently without disrupting progress. When problems arise, I address them systematically, involve the right people, and focus on practical solutions. This approach ensures that setbacks are managed effectively, minimizing delays and keeping the project moving forward smoothly.

  2. The experts were able to resolve challenging moments in their project by applying effective communication and collaboration principles. They understood that when they encountered obstacles beyond their control, they sought support from others with the necessary resources. In situations where language posed a barrier, they involved additional individuals who could bridge the communication gap.

    Moreover, when stakeholders considered terminating the project earlier than planned, a roundtable discussion was initiated. Both parties reached a mutual agreement after understanding that the project had to be stopped due to financial constraints and the need to prioritize larger projects by managing available funds wisely.

    I have witnessed similar scenarios in my workplace, where I collaborate with researchers in a research institute. I have also recommended this approach to researchers I support. The experts made appropriate and strategic decisions, demonstrating the importance of collaboration and adaptability in project management.

    As a project manager, I have learned that clear communication is the backbone of any successful project. It is not just about passing information but making sure everyone truly understands what is expected of them. I take time to explain tasks, listen to feedback, and clarify misunderstandings early. When communication flows properly, confusion reduces, trust increases, and the team works as one unit instead of scattered individuals.
    2. Positive mindset and understanding of the job process
    Having a positive mindset as a project manager helps me stay focused even when challenges arise. I believe that understanding the job process deeply allows me to guide the team with confidence. When I understand each stage of the project, I can support team members better, encourage them during difficult phases, and make informed decisions without panic. This mindset helps the team remain calm and productive under pressure.
    3. Solving problems without disruption
    Problems are unavoidable in projects, but how they are handled makes the difference. I make it a priority to address every issue calmly and systematically so it does not affect the entire workflow. Instead of allowing problems to escalate or cause tension, I focus on finding practical solutions and involving the right people. This approach helps the project move forward smoothly without unnecessary delays or confusion.

The three PM approach to project on how to manage project situations, they were resilience, all have positive mindset on their projects, and feeling of the other PM of not wanting to terminate a project early, The one thing that stood out for me was that they were solution driven, they found practical ways around them. As a project manager your body language determines if the project would scale through or not
