  6. Read the terms and conditions of usage of any site properly and if I agree with it,I sign up.But there are situations one may encounter in the terms and disagree with but because one must use such sites,I have no options but to sign.
    I switch on the fire wall in my device and also set the privacy and security settings on.
    Also,I switch on the incognito mode.

    What I can do to protect myself is:
    Proof read every terms and condition to my understanding before signing up. (it is something I usauly do)

    my question is : what if you don’t agree with some of the terms and conditions but is compulsory to accpt because you want to use the site or the app?

    To protect my information, it is imperative that carefully read every word and understand as much as possible whenever I decide to signup for sites online. I also need to ensure that my privacy setting and security on the devices is set up to avoid being tracked by sites and even hackers when I browse. Without knowing and before starting this cyber security course, one thing I like to do on my setting is to turn on the DO NOT TRACK in my setting and try to make my browser a privacy browsing. Out of curiosity, I took lots of time ot carefully read through my device settings to see the different options to set my device.
