  1. It is always important to be weary of what I agree to. We have given enough information to the companies that hold the softwares with ignorance and being hasty to browse through important terms that end up compromising our being.

60% of our privacy has been handed over to the software developers and it has the potential to ruin our lives by the press of a button.

Encryption is a process of converting information into a form in which unauthorized persons cannot access it, besides the relevant person with credentials.

We must always encrypt data, files or folders, to ensure privacy guaranteed.
Backing up data may prevent loss of irreplaceable data and by that, one may additional local storage and regularly save information there. It can be Home Network, Second location and/or Cloud.

The Information we might think is deleted, might still be on the magnetic back drive and hackers might trace it. Microsoft says they have the ability to remove the sensitive files completely, using their SDelete, while Linux claim that their Shred and MacOS says their Secure Empty Trash can permanently delete the data but the only thing is to destroy the drive used. The reason being that criminals took and continue taking advantage of impenetrable files. We must also consider deleting files in the Cloud storage. There should be a good consideration of backing up and encrypting files at all cost.

Like I said earlier, the terms we never read, are compromising us because we never browse and acclimatize with what’s binding us, we just accept and trust the organizations that hold us hostage unawares, through disclaimers.

Indeed, we need to normalize safeguarding our information either on our devices and storage areas we choose to utilize.
