    Question one:- A general Virtual assistant is said to be the one in charge of all administrative tasks for a business and for an individual. Ranging from bookkeeping, email management, arrangement of of appointments, filing and papers. These are the tasks of a general Virtual Assistant, that’s why it’s called ”General”.

    While a Specialised Virtual Assistant focuses on where he/she is good at. Good in the essense that they can perform that particular role without issue knowing that it’s their field/speciality.

    The Two Examples of Specialisations a Virtual Assistant might want to choose.
    i) Real Estate.
    ii) E-commerce.

    Question Three:- As a virtual assistant, it’s very necessary to develop a niche and specialise on it because it’ll help in getting clients. Once you’re good at a particular niche, you’re bound to succeed and you’d be wondering how it happened. It’ll also enable you run a VA firm properly.

    3 Benefits of choosing a Niche.

    i) It improves customer relationship:- When you’re good with communication especially towards your customers, you’re bound to establish a relationship with them. Following up diligently, calling them to check on them will do a whole lot because you know what you’re doing.

    ii) It reduces competition:- When you have a niche product or service, there are fewer competitors. Niche marketing reduces competition only When there’s a large audience. This is a huge benefit.

    iii) Visibility for Niche Marketing:- Niching can increase your internet Visibility. Oh yes, it will. And it’ll attract even more customers your way. In Niche marketing, reaching the right people is more crucial than reaching many.

    For a Virtual assistant, niching down means focusing on a particular skill and going for in depth in learning and delivering on that skill .
    The benefits includes being able to master it the skill and 2 higher pay benefits because to clients you seem more exclusive.
    One down side is that if one narrows down too early there’s a high chance of over streamlining your prospects so getting jobs and clients can be a bit harder.
