General Virtual Assistants: The general virtual assistants take care of administrative tasks of a business or a company. i believe that, for business and companies to function effectively and efficiently, the general virtual assistants are needed. As, they handle day to day tasks in the company/business. They render services like: email management, calendar scheduling, travel arrangements, file organizations, data entry and so on.
Specialized Virtual Assistants: The specialized virtual assistants on the other hand are, virtual assistants that specialize in an aspect of the virtual assistant career. Two examples of specializations a virtual assistant might choose are, Legal Virtual Assistants or Real Estate Virtual Assistants.
Thus, while, General VAs are to work on day to day tasks/ administrative tasks, Specialized VAs exercise deep expertise in a number of industries or career paths.
