Secondly Time management is needed in my job description to deliver service within stipulated expected time which is needed for an effective work environment and service delivery
Among the six skill areas required of a project manager, I possess good time management skills and have a basic understanding of ethics, standards, and the need for continuous professional development.
However, I have identified communication as a major skill gap. My communication skills are not as strong as they should be, and this affects my ability to negotiate effectively with others. Poor communication can lead to misunderstandings, difficulty in expressing ideas clearly, and challenges in resolving conflicts or reaching agreements.
To address these skill gaps, I plan to improve my communication skills by participating in public speaking activities, engaging in group discussions, seeking feedback from colleagues, and taking communication-related courses. As my communication skills improve, my negotiation skills will also develop, enabling me to interact more confidently and effectively with stakeholders and team members.
