As a Human Nutrition and Dietetics student and a content writer, I use several project management skills in my academic work and creative projects.
Communication: I communicate effectively with my classmates, lecturers and group members during assignments, presentations and collaborative projects to ensure everyone understands their roles and responsibilities.
Negotiation: I work with team members to share responsibilities, resolve disagreements and make decisions that benefit the group.
Time Management: I organize my academic work, content writing and personal activities to meet deadlines and complete tasks efficiently.
Understanding the Regulatory Environment: I recognize the importance of understanding healthcare policies, food safety regulations and professional guidelines, as they are essential for safe and effective practice in nutrition and dietetics.
The areas I need to improve are;
Ethics and Adherence to Standards: I want to gain a deeper understanding of the ethical principles and professional standards that guide the nutrition and dietetics profession. This will help me make responsible decisions and maintain professionalism in my future career.
Continual Professional Development: I plan to continuously improve my knowledge and skills by taking relevant courses, attending workshops and seminars, reading current research and seeking practical experiences that will prepare me for the evolving healthcare field.
As a computer science student, I use several project management skills, but the ones that are most effective and always needed in my day-to-day activities are:

Effective communication helps ensure that everyone understands project goals, responsibilities, and expectations. Strong time management enables tasks to be completed on schedule, while ethical behavior builds trust and credibility with team members and stakeholders. Continual professional development is also very important because project management practices and technologies are constantly evolving.
The areas I need to improve are negotiation and understanding the regulatory environment. It helps by developing better negotiation skills will help me resolve conflicts, manage stakeholder expectations, and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Increasing my knowledge of industry regulations will ensure that projects comply with legal and organizational requirements.
In my current role in procurement and project coordination, I use several project management skills.
Communication: I communicate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are clearly understood.
Negotiation: I negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best value, quality, and delivery timelines.
