Understanding the regulatory environment
Lately, I got to manage a project; however, I was somewhat not too familiar with the regulatory guidelines in the niche, which actually affected the project and incurred more financial burdens on the stakeholders, as part of the project was not in line with the outline principle in my region.
These gaps made me realise that as a PM, I must invest in knowing and understanding the regulatory environment of any niche I want to take up a project in.

I’m new to project management, as a beginner I would invest more time in training and continual professional development to be able to improve my skills to becoming a better project manager. I believe all the skills are important but taking time to work on communication, time management and adherence to ethics and standard practice is important in building a good career as a PM

possible actions i may want to take to address these skill gaps are to start taking courses that will help me leverage on these skills, and i will also start project as a project management trainee, and then learn on the job.
