  1. As a medical doctor, I see “Communication” and “Ethics and adherence to standards” making the top of my list

  2. I am a teacher. Communication and time management are a must-have. I really need to work on my negotiation skills so as to master the art of being in a win-win situation as an upcoming project manager.

  3. All six areas are essential for my job as a Digital marketing team lead. I need to improve on Time management, and most especially continual professional development. For me, i’m good with my time, but i have quite a lot of things on my table every now and then and the best way i believe I can sort this out is to get an executive assistant that can help put one or two things together with me.

  4. As a a fashion designer I need to improve on my negotiation and also understand the regulatory environment. These will help me and my team achieve a lot.

  5. Although my role is not formally titled Project Manager, my work requires strong project management skills on a daily basis. Engineering and technical roles are inherently project-driven, making these competencies essential.

    The most critical skills for my job are communication, time management, understanding the regulatory environment, and ethics and adherence to standards. Effective communication helps align stakeholders and prevent misunderstandings, while strong time management ensures timely delivery of multiple tasks and project milestones. A solid understanding of regulations and ethical standards is essential to ensure compliance, quality, and accountability.

    The areas I need to further develop are negotiation and continual professional development. Improving my negotiation skills will enhance my ability to manage scope, timelines, and stakeholder expectations. While I engage in professional development, I aim to adopt a more structured and intentional approach.

    To bridge these gaps, I plan to pursue targeted training and certifications, engage more actively in professional networks, seek mentorship, and deliberately apply new skills to ongoing projects. Strengthening these competencies will improve my effectiveness and overall project outcomes.

    Why communication matters in data analysis:
    Data analysis is not only about working with data but also about explaining insights clearly to stakeholders who may not be technical. Effective communication ensures that findings, trends, and recommendations are understood and can support decision-making.

  7. I’m a medical doctor and I have great communication skills and continual professional development skill, however, time management, negotiation and understanding the regulatory environment are areas I need to work on especially as an aspiring project manager.
