  1. I find communication to be a bedrock of any project management endeavours. All scopes and deliverables of the project should be clearly communicated. It set the pace and path for other skills to follow. Also, time management is also a vital as projects are time-bounded on schedule.

  2. As a project manager I should have a good communication skill, through communication, it will help keep the team in track. Another skill should be time management skills.

  3. In my current role, i belive Communication and Time Management are the most essential skills, beacuse i often juggle multiple task with different team members, so being clear and organised is what keeps project moving forward.
    However I definitely need to improve on Understanding the regulatory environment. Laws and standards change quickly, and I want to be more proactive in staying updated. To bridge this gap, I plan to dedicate time each week to complete the modules in this course.

  4. In my endeavours, communication has to be the most essential. Whether I’m leading a team, managing tasks, or aligning stakeholders, clear and intentional communication keeps everything on track. That said, I’m actively working on time management to boost my productivity and continual professional development to stay sharp in an ever-evolving field. All six areas are important, but communication is truly the backbone.

  5. Good negotiation skills, ethics and standards, time management, continuing professional development are important skills for a project manager and these are skill gaps I need to improve on. And I know continuing in this course will provide me with insight on how to work on these skills.

  6. Though am yet to become a project manager but the nature of my work enables me to function as one. Good communication skills, ethics and standards, knowledge of regulatory environment to effectively work are embedded.
    Negotiation, Professional development are gap I wish to cover, I am here with DEXA to learn and breach the gap

  7. Continual professional development and negotiation is the gap i need to bridge and that’s why am here with DEXA. I’m really not good at negotiating and I end up cheating myself. I believe after this training I will become better at negotiating.

  8. Of the 6 areas, Time management happens to be the most critical to my current role. This is because timely project completion and delivery is crucial in no small way as it minimises waste and prevents losses arising from variation. Effective Communication is another critical skill required in my current role. Project scope and requirement must be clearly communicated to all personnel working on the project, this will ensure everyone is on the same page for effective delivery of the project and cost optimisation.

  9. Though my job title is not a project manager at the moment, but my role entails me to function as such most times. I require good communication skill on daily basis, Negotiation, ethics and standards, knowledge of regulatory environment to effectively work.
    Professional development is a gap I wish to close, which is one of the reason I am here with DEXA to learn.
