  1. Hello. I am Aluko Yetunde Olabisi, a student of DEXA, cohort 30. I believe all six skills are crucial in daily life, not just for project managers. As a PM, applying these skills is vital for enhancing client relationships and team engagement.

  2. I’m Ojoba Bridget Onyeka, a pharmacist at a teaching hospital. All skills are necessary for my profession. However, my two major gaps are time management and continuing professional development.
    For time management, I intend to place priority on urgency of work before importance as well as having a to do list so as to avoid accumulation of work.
    Due to my busy schedule, I do not have time to develop on myself professionally. Hence, any spare time I will have will be used to attend seminars, listen to health talks, read health bulletin and taking courses on any soft skill.

  3. My name is Blessing Mibin a student of DEXA taking Project Management. As a project manager it is essential to know how to have a clear communication, it gives clear scope on what to do with your team, and Time management helps to stick to time.

    I am thrilled to say that collaboration in project management is key, especially when it comes to communication. It helps create a leadway for ideas and easy flow of work.

  6. I’m Engr Christiana Adeagbo on cohort 30 Project management Bootcamp with DEXA. As Assistant General Manager am saddle with the responsibility to Plan, Coordinate and execute maintenance program.
    I also assist in implementing policies on planning, designing, installation of Equipment.
    so almost all the skill is applicable to me . i need to communicate to my unit group properly on maintenance and installation, negotiate while procuring equipment, be time conscious and have the knowledge of standards.

  7. My name is Dudutari Samaria Kalabumo, a student at DEXA currently enrolled in the Project Management course. As a healthcare professional, I find that almost all the skills required of a project manager are directly applicable to my current role.
    ​Effective communication is a crucial aspect of my work, as I constantly engage with clients, colleagues, team members, and patients’ relatives. Additionally, time management is vital; in nursing, every action is time-bound, and quick decision-making is often the difference between saving a life and losing control of a clinical situation.

    ​My role also requires a deep understanding of the regulatory environment. Every facility I have worked in is governed by specific policies, and as a nurse, my scope of practice is strictly guided by professional ethics and standards. Furthermore, continuous professional development is essential to stay updated with current practices and medical advancements.

    ​Growth is essential to me, and this project management course has already deepened my understanding of how to execute projects effectively. I am excited to continue this journey and gain even more insights into the field.

    I’m looking forward to applying these skills and continually improving to become a successful project manager, leveraging them to deliver impactful projects and grow professionally.
