  1. As a Mechanical Engineering Student, my job definitely requires me to have all the listed skills. But currently, I possess Communication, Negotiation, and Time management skills. What I should do in other to get the remaining skills is to learn about them and to make friends that are reflecting these skills so that I can be like them.

  2. As I continue through my training and reflect on where I am as a student nurse, I recognise that every skill matters. However, I’m especially focused on strengthening my communication and time management abilities—two areas where I know I still need to grow. I’m genuinely committed to improving in these aspects and look forward to mastering them as I progress.

  3. I see project management skills not as something separate from my job, but as a foundation that can make my work more organized, reliable, and impactful. Areas where I especially need improvement are negotiation and understanding the regulatory environment.

    Name: Jerry Ebruvwiyor Osiobe.

  4. I’m the project management of a film production, although we’re still in the planning phase, I have to communicate with actors, ensure that the script writer delivers on time, search for location.
I plan on having a meeting with the crew members where we’ll talk about the script, our shooting days, the publicity team, video editors and videographers.

  5. As a project manager in training, I have had the opportunity to over see several projects. I see all highlighted skills as important.

    1. As a Microbiologist, all the skills are necessary but I need to work on my communication and time management skills as they would help in my field of study

  6. Even though I’m not officially a project manager, project management skills are vital in my role as a student and emerging tech professional. Among the six areas listed, I find time management and communication to be the most essential. Balancing coursework, personal projects, and freelance work requires careful scheduling and clear communication with collaborators to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
I also recognize that I need to improve in negotiation, especially when discussing project scopes or deadlines with team members or clients, and in continual professional development, to stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in the tech field.
To bridge these gaps, I plan to:
    – Practice setting realistic project timelines and sticking to them.
    – Dedicate regular time to read, practice, and experiment with new tech tools.
    – Seek mentorship and feedback from peers or professionals who excel in project management.
I believe that strengthening these skills will not only improve my current projects but also prepare me for future leadership roles.

  7. With how packed things are for me day-to-day, time management is the most important tool in the garage for me to properly function and achieve the best I could from the projects I handle.
