  1. I have a background in Law and am seeking to utilize it in handling projects centered around empowering girls and women to champion advocacy for their rights and growth through tech. All six skills of a Project Manager are relevant in my current field of work, and I believe I possess them but in varying degrees. The least would be my negotiation skills. There’s a lapse in finding balance between what is needed and what is being offered. I plan to learn more about how to negotiate better and find that balance during this course.

  2. I worked as a sales associate and I can say I used the communication skills, Negotiation skills and Time management skills effectively. We communicate daily with clients that wants to purchase our products and when given a price they tend to beat the price down but I try to negotiate with them and to assure them that they would get value for what they are paying for, we meet each other at the middle when it comes to the pricing and also time management, when a clients wants the goods delivered on a set date and time I make sure I keep to time and deliver the goods.

  3. When I served as a team lead for an academic project in my department, I used my communication skill the most, and it really helped me clear up several misunderstandings and just keep the group moving forward.
    Also, when I worked as a teaching intern at a private secondary school, I had to use my communication skill, my time management skill, my negotiation skill, and also abide by the ethics of being a teacher. These experiences have helped groom me more in these skills and I believe I’ll still need to keep working on these skill because there is no end to learning. Right?

  4. Currently working as an SM,I’ve learnt that communication tops the list.Having to negotiate the terms of agreement with my team was one I found very hard cause everybody wants to save or make their money.I need to improve my time management honestly,
