No 1. Outline at least two factors to consider when setting your hourly or project based rates as a VA.

Two factors I consider are researching industry trends. Going to websites such as Google, upwork and Fiverr, to check what other similar VAs are charging, to have an idea of what I should charge per hour.

    B) Cost of living. When setting my rates, I take this into consideration to ensure that whatever I earn sustains me long-term. My rates need to adequately cover essential living expenses such as internet, housing, food, and other work related costs, otherwise you’ll be living from hand to mouth. Considering these factors allows me to maintain financial stability whilst providing high quality services to my clients.

It is important to have a clear pricing structure for your business so as to work professionally and avoid misunderstandings. It allows both the sevice provider and client to know what is expected, helps in better time management and ensures fairness in wages.

    2) Two strategies I use to maintain positive working relationships with clients.

•By communicating clearly and honest. It is important to prioritize your clients, by communicating clearly and giving regular updates, asking necessary questions and responding in a timely manner to avoid keeping them in the dark. This helps to buld trust between the service provider and the client.

    • Being professional and reliable. This can be achieved by being professional to the core, delivering quality work, meeting deadlines and respecting the client’s time. To strengthen the working relationship, clients need to know they can rely on you.

Now, if a client is dissatisfied with my work, the only right thing to do, would be to listen carefully to their concerns without arguing. Asking them for specific feedback, acknowledging the issue and making the necessary corrections. At the end of the day, the paramount thing is to resolve the problem professionally and make sure the client feels heard, understood and satisfied.

    3) Measures I take to ensure the confidentiality and safety of clients data.

    • Using strong passwords and enabling two factor authentication on all accounts, where possible.

•Keeping client’s information confidential and not sharing it with anyone else, without their permission.

    • Accessing client’s data on secure devices and avoiding public or unsecured WiFi Networks.
