Question 1: Setting Rates
The factors to be considered when setting rates are as follows: Consider geographical location and target market, expenses, specialization (niche)and skills set, pricing and experience level.
Having a clear pricing structure is essential for a virtual assistant because it helps to build trust and credibility, it saves time between clients and Virtual assistant, it helps to avoid underpricing and overpricing.
QUESTION 1 – Setting Rates
* As a virtual assistant, there are various factors to consider or put in place when setting rates. These include:
Location; Level of Expertise/Experience; Expenses; Niche; and Complexity of the work.
* Having a clear pricing structure as a VA is important in order to prevent undercharging or overcharging and to gain trust and confidence from clients.

* Maintaining a positive working relationship with clients can be achieved by being proactive, providing status reports to clients and also providing clear communication.
* Where a client is dissatisfied with my work, I would do the following: listen attentively, ask questions, proffer a solution, fix the issue and do a status or follow-up on the client.
