    It’s essential to have a clear pricing structure because it fosters trust between you and your client, it’s arrived at after you must have researched what other VAs are charging in your industry to avoid being caught overcharging or undercharging. It also gives you a sense of organization and stability to have a clear pricing structure.

    Q2. Two strategies necessary for maintaining positive work relationships with clients are
    a) effective and timely communication: A VA should know how to articulate themselves effectively whether by speaking or writing and should communicate with their clients in a manner that leaves no room for a misunderstanding. Communications should also happen frequently to foster trust and team spirit.
    b) Creatively solve problems for their business: This helps the VA become invaluable in the eyes of the client because by solving problems creatively and effectively, you build a relationship where they are comfortable leaving their business in your hands which will leave to longer retention of clients.

    If a client was dissatisfied with my work, I would first communicate my understanding of their perspective, ensure that they feel reassured of my commitment to deliver excellent results and then take note of areas where they would like a change or an upgrade in the work. I would try to deliver that same work on time after corrections have been made so that they know they are a priority for my business.

    Step 2: Organize and create essential folders and labelling such as Urgent, Follow-up etc
    Step 3: Automate by setting up filters for automatic sorting and implement auto-replies for common questions
    Step 4: Prioritize responding to emails on the client’s behalf or flag them for their direct attention.
    Step 5: Regularly unsubscribe from spam and irrelevant lists to keep the inbox tidy.

    I. My skill and level of experience: the skill and level of experience that I have will majorly influence my rate. The more skillful and experienced I am, the higher my rate and vice versa
    II. The general rate for clients in the area of my niche will also influence my rate in that I will not want it to be too high that the general rate neither will I want it to be to low. Moderacy is essential here.
