    Answer:
    Level of experience and skill set:
    As an entry level VA, I would set my rates minimally to let people contact me and give jobs to build experience first, and gain trust. At this basic level as a VA, I would consider jobs to build my portfolio and get referrals, overcharging might scare my customers away but when I have mastered some specific skill set like email management, social media management, appointment setting etc, I would raise and adjust my rates accordingly.

    Cost of living and business expenses
    Based off, on my location, internet bills, subscription fees, daily livable expense,
    I would factor in the costs that would enable me deliver the job perfectly, my rent, my profit margin, the type of gadget I would use, light bill,technical maintenance, software subscriptions and every other cost that would go into the delivery of the work.

    Market trends and industry standard
    Researching what other VAs in my experience or relative skill set is charging , finding out what VAs round the clock charges to ensure I am not undercharging myself or overcharging. Look up my niche and charge accordingly and to maintain a good competition.

    Professionalism; Having a clear pricing structure is essential to show you are a professional and know what you are doing. For example, a well structured rate card gives the impression of an organized business.

    TRANSPARENCY; this helps eliminate doubts or confusion, sets expectations and clear assumptions, and avoids misunderstanding with clients.

    Ease of Business; having a clear pricing structure, makes your new client onboarding process smoother and easy, very straightforward process and ensures you are paid fairly for your time and effort.

    Proactive and consistent communication:
    Always initiate and maintain communication with your clients regularly. Do not wait for a problem to arise before you communicate. Reach out to them, set clear expectations, Listen to their feedback and build trust.

    The common rule is do what you say you would do, at the time you said it would be done. Simply be reliable, build trust and deliver your promises. If there is any thing that would hinder you from achieving a set goal, communicate.

    Non Disclosure Agreements Form (NDA) I would have clients sign this form to ensure we are on the same page and align on the confidentiality of information and how it should be shared. This is a professional way to ensure clients are aware of how their data would be handled and the importance of confidentiality

    Install trusted security software: installing and updating regularly antivirus and anti malware software to protect all my devices from potential threats and ensure a safe and secure work space.
