Question 1 Setting rates
When setting up rates(hourly or project based rates), as a virtual assistant, two factors to consider are:
i. Level of experience/environment
ii. Monthly expenses/cost of running the business.
B. Having a clear pricing structure is essential for my business because it helps my clients build trust in my business, makes me make good business decision and also helps to maximize profit margins and offers competitive advantage for my business .
Question 2: Client Management
Two strategies for maintaining positive working relationships with clients are:
I. Communicate clearly with clients about updates and new development always do not make assumptions be willing to offer help, be courteous
ii. Be respectful, courteous and meet deadlines always as it leaves a feeling in your clients that you can be trusted
b. In a situation where a client is dissatisfied with my job oh my goodness. I will first of all apologize, take full responsibility for my actions, offer solutions to do the job again for the client, apologize once more and will do a follow-up to ensure I deliver and win my client’s trust again.

Question 5:Practical skills application
On this practical skill I will be working on email management. The tool iw will be working with is Google calendar.
With the Google calendar I can fix daily schedule for my client on a day to day basis of his daily/weekly routine like meetings, training, conferences, boardmeetings, travel etc and also be able to set reminders for him to keep him aware of his daily schedule for the day without missing out.
Steps
-Go to Google calendar on my phone/ desktop PC OR thru calendar.google.com
-click on tasks to create tasks(meeting, conference, training)
-Set time, reminder
-Set location, invite people if it is online sending a link, add email of attendees
-Save

1. Researching industry trends by getting online and going to websites like Fiverr, Google etc and looking for other virtual assistants who offer similar services to find out their ratings. This will give an idea of what the market trends are.
2. Considering my livable wage by taking a rough estimate of my monthly expenses and ensuring that I have a figure that I need to hit each month. With this in mind I should be able to ask myself if my charges will pay my bills.

1. Have a client onboarding process: This helps to have a good impression on clients as clients can assume the structured organization of your business or VA service before getting onboard.

Use project management system: Organize your client tasks in a project management system such as Teamwork projects, Asana, Clickup or Trelo or you may design templates for recurrent tasks in your business and keep track of client project due dates among other things, like getting reminder emails about upcoming deadlines.
