Various definitions of the concept of quality have been put forward.
One generic definition (Pass, 2006b) is as follows:
The overall characteristics of a product or service that fulfill the requirements of customers in terms of quality.
This definition aligns with the viewpoint of Joseph Juran, who, in the 1950s, defined quality as ‘fitness for use’ (as quoted in ASQ, 2019).
This definition is largely consistent with the definition of quality provided by APM (2019, p. 214):
The suitability for the intended purpose and the degree to which the output of a process or the process itself conforms to the requirements.
Now take a moment to consider the following statements about quality. Which ones do you agree with?
- Quality should prioritize the customer’s needs.
- Quality is an internal focus.
- Quality should be considered from the project’s inception.
- The execution phase of a project is crucial for achieving quality goals.
- Quality issues should be openly discussed to identify corrective actions.
- Quality problems should be concealed from customers and possibly managers.
- Individuals are enthusiastic about producing high-quality outcomes.
- Team members do not produce quality outputs without close supervision.

All the statement on quality are good 👍
But that of team members do not produce good quality without supervision I totally agree with…
I agree with the following :
Quality should be considered from the project’s inception : this is to ensure that it is followed through the project and not bringing substandard product.
Quality issues should be openly discussed to identify corrective actions: Quality should be discussed by team members and stake holders to effect corrections .
Quality should prioritize the customer’s needs: This is very key as it would determine the project sustainability.

When anything is being produced, it is the consumers that determine weda is will sell or not. So when the product does not have quality especially if it’s a new one, there will be poor demand of it there by leading to great loss to the producers but if reverse is the case , you will be glad you produced it to consumers taste being quality.
Quality should be discussed openly and also focused on the customer’s needs
Quality should be considered from the inception of a project
As regards to quality, I agree in the following:
* Quality should be considered from the inception of the project.
*It’s an internal focus.
*It’s issues should be discussed openly.
*It should be a priority.
– Customers need should always be a priority, put all standard and quality measures to deliver this.
-Case study should be carried out , to learn from the mistakes of others, while persisting on Quality while carrying out the Project.
– Quality should alway be the driving force of the project. As there is no other to get
Quality Problems should be transparent. And everyone should be carried along.
-when issues are discussed openly, it is an opportunity for new team members to learn.
-Quality should be the only way to carry out a project.
In every phase and stage there should be group presentations to be done open or privately with the Project Manager
• Quality should be considered from the beginning of the project.
• The execution phase of a project is the most critical to achieve quality targets.
• Quality issues should be discussed openly to find corrective actions.
✅ -Quality should be focused on customers need
✅ – Quality should be considered from the beginning of the project.
✅ – The execution phase of a project is the most critical to achieve quality targets.
✅- Quality issues should be discussed openly to find corrective ideas.
✅ – People are keen on producing quality outputs.
Regarding the accomplishments of the quality, all of the assertions seem to be significant.
However, I think that in order to achieve quality, the following viewpoints should be taken into account;
. Quality must to be taken into consideration from the beginning of the project.
. The needs of the customer should be prioritized in the quality mindset.
. Quality objectives should be publicly discussed or addressed to determine remedial actions.
. People are passionate about generating high-quality results.
In light of this, I think team members need constant supervision in order to deliver high-quality results.
Quality is strongly interrelated to time and cost.
I totally I agree with the following statements
1. Quality should prioritize the customer’s needs.
2 Quality is an internal focus.
3.Quality should be considered from the project’s inception.
4 The execution phase of a project is crucial for achieving quality goals.
5 Quality issues should be openly discussed to identify corrective actions.
7. Individuals are enthusiastic about high-quality outcomes
I disagree with number 6 which says
Quality problems should be concealed from customers and possibly managers
I partially agree with number 8 which says
Team members do not produce quality outputs without close supervision
