Both diverse team and homogeneous team have their role when dealing with a simple task a homogeneous team will be best to use but when a complex task is been done a diverse team will be the best because members of the team has different back ground and coming together as a term will be of advantage in giving solutions to the task and goals will be achieved
During my undergraduate days, my class rep had a habit of creating groups of 12 people who were to work together for the semester. Seven out of 10 times, the members of each group were just acquaintances or were meeting for the first time.
We then discovered that this method turned out to be efficient in achieving the semester goals of the groups.
For me, i would like say to that a diverse team is better than a homogenous one.
