  1. Yes there is a relationship between diversity and performance. Teams with great diversity tend to produce superior work due to the fact that everyone works together toward the project goal bringing together their different levels of knowledge and understanding resulting in delivering great results.
    The challenge that would probably arise is that of the differences in background, ethnicity, individual differences.

    1. Diverse team yields immense benefits based in different perspective, experience, diverse skills and knowledge.

    Project management complexity which can lead to requiring additional time, effort and resources to coordinate, communicate and manage team members
